It was a chilly 27F this morning with an early start time of 8am. The 10K course has to change last minute due to late completed construction on part of the river path. This caused some slight confusion at the turn around point, leading to more of a 10.8K, rather than the tradition 10. Either way, I smashed my personal best and finished with an average pace of 10:21/mile. Super stoked for the time and the bling!
I can’t believe how far I have come since beginning this journey in August last year, with Couch25K. Woo hoo!!!

Yes I do. I have signed up for three half marathons in May, July and October. A 30K on September 1st and there are a few other 5K and 10K races I have my eye on. 😂 Depending how I do on the 30K Labor Day race, I have my eye on a marathon the weekend before Halloween. 🤔 I am feeling quite ambitious this year! 😳😀 How about you?
Oh my word, I didn’t expect that many races! Wow, absolutely fantastic, and you’ll do brilliantly at them all! Can’t wait to hear how each of them goes - you’ll be a running machine! 😀🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️
I just have 3 10k races to look forward to. Bristol 10k on May 5th, Race for Life on June 30th and the Severn Bridge 10k at the end of August. Should be fun! I want bling! 🏅 🏅 🏅
