Getting stronger by the day and *think* I might try a teeny bit of running tomorrow. Hokas with new running arch supports. Or...maybe these new Adrenalines?
I'm sure I'll be puffed out in no time flat having been on the IC for 11 weeks...but at least my feet will be cute!

Whoah cute shoe porn alert, super snazzy runners 🙂
Tasha99 - thanks. I switched to Hoka for running late last year, having started in Adrenalines. And since then I have had lots of knee issues. But it's not clear that there is any relationship between the shoes and the problems. More than likely because I was increasing my mileage, and so that aggravated my arthritis. Plus the physio thinks I need to more aggressively support my arches - if I am just pronating 1 to 2 degrees it could be putting extra pressure on the medial side of my knees, which are pretty knackered (and I wore arch supports in my Adrenalines, but not the Hokas). I actually got these Brooks for casual wear - I am walking to and from physio today for the exercise and might try running a couple of minutes of it. I couldn't do it last week - immediate pain. We shall see.
I buy the women's in a wide. My heels are skinny and my feet are low volume so it's a bit challenging to fit! I think the men's would probably be too sloppy in the heel.
Very snazzy Brooks...best of luck with your little run.Maybe you can take it back to basics with a walk with bouts of slow jogging in between, to see how your body feels about it 🤞😅
Thanks! that's what I did (but wearing Hokas). Probably managed about 10 minutes total of 30-60 second bouts of running. Then I felt a twinge and just walked the rest.Planning to do the same each time I go out- 3-5 miles walk and just run bits until I can run more and more of it. Hopeful today!
