If they restart in Scotland sometime after the date in England I could run at Dunfermline's 6th birthday parkrun on 3rd July and 3 weeks later at the 2nd birthday of Drumpellier Parkrun on the 24th July, who knows I might get a piece of cake like I got on my very first parkrun at Dunfermline 2 years ago on the occasion of their 4th birthday.

We’ve just had a note of caution from our RD, that he is having a zoom meeting with the City Council next week and that nothing is definite at this stage. But listening to the podcast today, parkrun have gone for a later date to avoid bank holidays, and junior parkrun will only go up to age 10 to keep it safe until 5k parkrun starts. Think positive thoughts.

You do have particular difficulties in Southsea given the proximity to other prom users - not a problem that bothers us at Portsmouth Lakeside with just a few anglers! Hopefully common sense will prevail.🤞

I hope so because Parkrun want all of England to run on the same day to avoid tourism. We’d all end up at lakeside!

I notice it’s already in the local newspaper so that will put the pressure on. 99 sleeps apparently.
