Jumped out of bed today for my second (and hopefully pain free ) run of the week. Ran up the small incline to head out of the village and these little fellas were looking to see who was coming. So nice to see some signs of spring. Noticed a few hardy daffodils πΌ too. Managed a nice 3 1/2 k run again this morning so Iβll be happy with that for this week I think. Iβm needing to have 2-3 rest days atm to rest my hips so Iβll hopefully be out again on Monday. Happy running everyone over the weekend πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ Stay safe and enjoy ππππ

Well done Scruff. That's a good run for you today πππΌ. I joined you with a 3.5k run this morning, but my legs felt rather heavy - I'm obviously not drinking enough water. ππ
Well done, I've not run for ages now, the cold and slippery ice stopped me, although I've been having cold showers every morning following the advice of the iceman who I heard speak on the radio!! I hate the cold too! Your running routes are so much nicer than mine, which are along roads with houses either side. I head for a small park and incorporate that into my runs as it's a bit of greenery, but not much. I will get out there again, just having a break from it and doing a 5k daily speed walk instead. I do hope that your hips improve.
Yes Iβm so lucky although there are inclines out of the village on every route when I think of it. But itβs so nice to finally see signs of spring and today although there was a cold wind these little lambs made me smile. Iβm trying to keep positive red my hips and have reduced to 2 runs a week atm and only running until I feel my legs getting heavy. Iβm sure youβll get out there again once the nice weather comes and even though you run through the houses maybe there will be some spring flowers πΈ to see. Keep safe and when the time comes youβll be ready. ππππββοΈπββοΈπββοΈππππΈπΈπΈ
Thanks Scruff55, yes Iβm waiting until I feel ready to run again, I just need to get back into the routine that I had as Iβm still working full time so canβt just go when I feel in the mood. Iβm going to drop down to 2 days a week in August so will have more time then. Maybe in my head I know that! Keep up the good work and I do hope that your hips allow you to run. There are no inclines on my routes, all flat around here! Those lambs would have made me smile too ππππββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ
