Friday 5.5k Today 7.25k

Cracking on with JJMP distance.

It was really hard to get back out there after the last 10 days. I lost a very special old pony who I've looked after for the last 25 years. However, getting out running to a place of solitude and healing really helped. Made a huge difference. So glad I started this journey. πŸ‘πŸ΄.

Sorry to hear about your pony πŸ₯Ί Running is good for clearing the head. I was up at the wind farm yesterday. Just a 5 mile walk though. It certainly cleared out a few cobwebs πŸ₯Ά

How did the runs themselves go? Today was a 7km walk for me.

Friday fairly easy, but OMG today's was a challenge with 1st 4km being a hill slog with 69m elevation, almost took me to what felt like the top the world. Great for the windmills. Good 7k walk for you today.

Good grief! My hill climb slog to the railway bridge is only about 30m elevation gain over about 600m. Good on you! πŸ‘

Ah, that's so sad for you. Well done for going out for a run, not easy when dealing with loss of your wonderful equine friend.

May you have many more healing runs with happy memories in mind.

Best wishes ☺️

So sorry to hear about your pony but glad that you found some solace in getting out there for a run - even though you found it a bit of a struggle. We are so lucky to have running in our lives

Thank you, indeed we are lucky to be able to do this. Hopefully the lighter days and better weather (maybe) will help. 🀞
