I haven’t posted much recently but though I would today as I’m feeling just a bit chuffed. It was (not)parkrun this morning, quite dull, cool and November-ish but good for trotting in. Having started with no real plan other than meeting my support bubble of Dexy5 and UpTheStanley for an outdoors coffee afterwards, I discovered at the end that I’d done it in 45:49 which is, for me, a PB! Definitely happy with that - one day I might even better it! Happy running folks!

Ah, you say the kindest things Sandie! My plan is that come the day we can all meet up again, I’d like to start running at the same time as everyone else in the hope of finishing at more or less the same time whereas at the moment I have to start a half hour beforehand!!
My son and I have a plan that when we can do a park run he will do the circuit x2 so we can start and finish together! I still need to speed up though as he does it in just under 20 minutes!!
I did that with my son-in-law earlier this year. He thought he could beat me but I got home a good couple of minutes before him. Makes me the winner in my eyes!
45:49 is brilliant OldGirl. The JogRunSprint and fastest 1k Challenge have obviously helped you. Not to mention some at a distance pacing from @coddfish last week
Now you can reduce speed for your next run to let your body recover. Your snails aren’t redundant yet. 🐌 🐌 🐌 🐌
Hooray. Nothing like a Pb to cheer the mood. I tried my fastest 1k today. Went ok 👌🏻. Just think what you could have done if you’d realised you were on a fast one! Well done
