Run 1 of Week 3 on Ju-ju's Magic Plan. Wasn't sure about doing the long 7k run so soon after my 5km Parkrun on Saturday but I had arranged to go with a friend who runs and had kindly plotted out a fab 7km route for us in the local woods. It was sunny but cool in the shade and with a delicious breeze that helped keep me going. A few uphill stretches that I grumbled my way through and lots of lovely flat and downhill bits that I really enjoyed. Really pleased to be home and having a nice sit down now. Feeling so happy and a little achey. ☺
7km - I am so happy! : Run 1 of Week 3 on Ju... - Bridge to 10K
7km - I am so happy!
Well done on the 7k ! Lovely run in the woods - sounds like the perfect location 🌳
Slightly apprehensive of my 7k this week but nice to read the VRB’s doing theirs which gives me the motivation to smash it too 🏃♀️
Great run...and...woo hoo 7k✔👍Well done Debston, a lovely run outside!😊x
Fantastic, well done on getting that done Looks like a lovely route too. I don't know about you but I still have a bit of disbelief that I actually ran 7k!!
Well done, Debs. That’s some serious progress.
Wonderful photo.
7k is amazing and after 5k on Saturday makes it even more impressive deb.Think you've earned that sit down lol👏👌✌
Amazing stuff Debs, you're absolutely flying.
Wow debs, brillant !!
I'm slightly nervous about this one, I sort of believe I can do it but it feels like a big step to add on a whole 1k lol
You and others posting your runs is giving me the courageI need
I was nervous, 7 sounds like a big number doesn't it? If it helps, the final km was honestly the easiest bit because I knew I was on the home stretch. In fact, as soon as I got halfway, I had no doubt at all that I would finish. So just hang in there until you have done 3.5km and then the rest should take care of itself. It really helped that my friend had planned the route and I didn't have to make any decisions today, just had to follow him! So might be worth having a really clear idea of your route before you set off. Good luck, you can do it! ☺
Great run. Those aches are just there to remind you how awesome you are. That fitness level has risen very well... 12k in 3 days is a big advance on still feeling the last run two days later in the early weeks of your running journey. Happy running.
Well done you! Wow can’t imagine doing 7k.
Well done! Make sure you have an easy run next or even a day’s rest!
wow looks a lovely place to achieve a 7 k, well done🙌 bet it was helped with the breeze and bit of shade. Enjoy a rest now you have earned it😊
Lovely photo. Well done on your long run 👍
Wow! Well done! And the woods look beautiful!
Well done to you! 😊
What a perfect place to run your 7k at. Looks lovely.
Well done you. I’m hoping mine goes just as well later in week. I started with the shorter 3.5k on a hilly stretch, which went very well 👍🏼
