That was a very good but very cold run for you today Doris8, - 7C is 19F, yes your hands would be numb with cold, congratulations on completing it, many runners would have turned back home 7 metres let alone 7.47Km, well done, I hope you are now nice and warm back home

Take a hot bath and some hot cocoa. You deserve it!

Minus seven? It was just touching freezing here, but the air was so still that there was no chill at all, and I overdressed for running again. Oops! 😳

Yes it was Baltic. Going to invest in warmer gloves in case any more cold spells up here in Scotland.

Probably that cold as well as 7 in morning. Frost never lifted much here. Even partner must have felt guilty when I went away cause he was away for a run when I got back and said he wasn’t going out. He ran 8km . Runs too fast for mex

Ouch. That sounds painfully cold. Getting those miles under your belt might make your 5K times faster too.

Yes gaining strength. I felt good after the distance I done , took it easy and had a wee bit left at the end when finished, usually gasping. I will still do 30 mins runs through the week to see if I can get a wee bit faster. Thanks

Great dedication, set your mind to it and you did it. Thanks. I’m currently training for a half marathon, my next run is aiming to be 13K 😬 but loving my long runs. I also like a tranquil early morning run, it’s an exhilarating way to start the day, especially this time of year lol.
