Very exciting.I've got a cheap Chinese one. It was brilliant when new, but I'm getting more and more frustrated by it and realising you get what you pay for. So been eyeing up and saving for the FR45 since the summer, but as per the norm, something else came up and took my pennies.
I find that 2 save then something breaks or the car needs something doing to it. I've been lucky enough to work from home since March I've gone into work about 8 times since then so have saved petrol money and money not being spent in the coffee shop!!
I went for it! Like you I got the FR 45 off Amazon. First run last night and spent most of the time just looking at the watch, trying to work out which of the stats were the most effective.
Think it's going to take a little getting used to and learning where everything is, but first impressions are good.
I'm fairly new to running. Finished C25k 3 weeks ago and this is my first running watch. It took me a while to link it all up to Garmin connect, Garmin Express and Strava . I ran/walked yesterday and it was really easy to use. The only thing I now want to change on the watch face is the distance/pace from miles to km. I think I've done that now but well see tomorrow when I'm next out.
