It's getting to the bit that after 5K, a 8K is my favourite distance, I suppose that is because I take just under one hour to complete it, for you as well 8K seems a good run, I am glad that you enjoyed your run today despite a few other distractions especially after you finished the run, good luck for your Ju Ju's Magic 10, not long before you can run a 10K.
but Oh my goodness - this sounds very familiar ... Iβve worked out that if I eat after 5pm day before a run, I need emergency pit stop π - believe me ... you are not alone.
On the plus side for me (being overweight), it means I eat less 3 times a week π€£
Thanks 61Lady. π itβs never happened before when running 5ks - I normally use the loo and then go for a run - so I am thinking itβs got something to do with the longer distances π€·πΌββοΈ
What an eventful run and a great 8k, I particularly liked the bit about having to play your podcast and annoying the fishermen π Why is it that the tech always seems to let us down when we need it most? As for the Paula Radcliffe moment it's one that I and I guess lots of us dread !
Well done for doing that topsy turvy run! Some unexpected hurdles π but that happens. I know what you mean about getting back in time for work when you're on a roll with a run!
Sooo annoying when ear buds go silent, you are a few days in front of us on the magic plan, both on same week, we are hoping to run 8k tomorrow after a restful rest day today
Believing it is the biggest part of reaching it ππ»π
Absolutely π― a positive. Especially as you went pretty quickly over 5k which would make the next 3 tricky but you did it. The tummy thing can be normal too so don't worry. Steadier long run next time will see 10k looking rosy π
Thanks. Iβve gone from music to podcasts or audio books - somehow having someone chatting is more background and less forefront of my mind when running which I like. I guess we all find what works for us. Happy running!
