Decided this morning I could do a 7k. Went out a little later than normal which meant I didnβt have to avoid the slugs and snails π. Steady run and decided that although tired I could stretch it to 8k. Then the thought came into my head that I had started a bit quick so if I ran for 8k I would be short by about 4 minutes to get to the achievement of running for 60 minutes.
So dilemma, abandon the 8k or do more? The desire not to give up was too strong but as anyone who has read my post knows technology isnβt my strong point so I had to guess to when 60 minutes was. Afraid I would stop at 59 minutes I continued to 8.5k.
Woohoo 60 minutes done ππππ₯³
Now for a lay down
Posted this on C25K as I thought I would never go further and then realised I may just one day get to 10k

Thank you, I am still amazed I did it. I still think of myself as not a runner , I wonder when that gremlin in my head will change and I will be a runner to me? May then have to change my nameβ¦
I will do just that, I feel a bit like a fraud as canβt quite believe I did it and then wonder if I should do it again to prove the technology didnβt go wrong π€£
Thank you π I do hope to get to 10k, but when I started running I said 5k and I would be happy with just that and now each week I think I can add a little more. I am aiming for 10k by Christmas so very slow increases each week.
Well done and it's amazing to run for an hour. I think once you can manage an hour, anything is possible. Love the reference to slugs and snails, crunching on snails is not pleasant!
Well done thatβs brilliant. So looking at your average pace, if you can keep that up you need to run for another 11 mins to hit the 10k. Easy now you are so close π. Isnβt it amazing to go from a 60 second run at the start of C25K to 60 mins, what an achievement! ππ
