Hi it was cold when out this morning at 7.15 am wished I had put gloves on but soon warmed up, too cold for shorts for me yet. Was going to run 5 km but decided to keep going further and ran for 60 minutes 7.2 km. I decided to take things a bit easier to try and get heart rate down but still quite high even going slower. Will persevere.

Just back - it was one of those concrete runs so I cut it short at 40 mins...

Good luck Take it easy and slowly.I wasn’t doing a time to get to 10 km just trying to do 10km what time I took building it up from 5km and some weeks felt strong enough to go further than planned . I have run 10km before but don’t want to do that too often because of osteoporosis just glad I’m running so now and again will do it but sticking to 60 minutes or 5km. 😊
Well done Doris Cast your mind back to Week one and how the journey started - amazing what progress you have made. I would think the running is helping the Osteoporosis , be interesting to know.Have a lovely day. Best wishes ☺️.
Same here Doris, on Adcal. I want a Dexa scan too at the end of the year and hoping iit will show improvement due to running and not require meds. Fingers crossed for both of us 🤞.
