As I’m away visiting friends for the next couple of days and wanted to get away reasonably early this morning, I decided I’d ‘just’ do this week’s 4k. Rather than do a shorter version of my long route, I thought I’d try out a slightly different route. Well, I slightly misjudged the distance and when I got to 4k I was still over 1k from home, so I carried on and did the 5k instead. As I thought I was only running 4k, I upped the pace as well and finished 5k in 33.15, which is one of my faster runs. Happy day 😃

Nice time Sandie but navigation needs work! Just conferring with cheeky... PBs all over the place and I actually sprinted at the end of my 8k yesterday! Me...sprint ?........ Never happened before. Speed is definitely in the air 🏃🏃🏃🏃. Makes you want it to stay cold....
Check you out Sandie! Multitasking with speed and directional skills! 👏👏 Wnat a fun run. I don’t have anywhere I can run from home as our road has no pavement. No thanks! 🏃♀️😮 🚙
Sounds like it worked out quite nicely in the end there Sandie nice job on your speedy 5K - lovely 😊 and enjoy your visit to see your friends.
I’ve got a story like this, a new route, going out for one distance and coming back with another 🙄 I’ll have to write a post 👍 ⚡️
Excellent! I love finding new routes, am useless at judging the distance and quite often get lost (at least you didn't do that!)
And you ran it in a time I can only aspire to - nice one!
