Sunday morning 16K done :-)

Having bailed out of a planned longer run on Friday after only 3K, I set out this morning wanting to prove to myself that 15K could be done.

I set off and kept to a pace of 06:20 or so for the first 5K, trying to run at 06:30 pace seems hard for me to slow down and run at a consistent pace.

However, after an energy gel at 9K I felt good and pushed on, coming home having run a good 10 miles.

Thanks, it is amazing how the body can do stuff when autopilot. Turn the brain off and let the legs spin at a steady pace.

Cheers, enjoyed trying to keep a consistent effort

Fabulous job- You can get a ten mile badge for that, if you go over to the Marathon Running forum and ask the admins :)
