RunLEJOG-ing into the Halloween season ...

Lovely short run in the rain! (My 2nd ever rain run!).

In RunLEJOG land I visited National Trust Lanhydrock and Cardinham Woods. But Zombies were still chasing me 🧟‍♀️🧟‍♂️ whilst I completed mission 5, the last of the free missions I think! At least until 5th October the app suggests. So I assume the Zombies are giving us a break before the height of Zombie Season towards Halloween 👻 🎃! And I’ll be passing through Bodmin Moor during Halloween, so I’ll have to watch out for monsters, werewolves, pixies, and zombies!

In my run today, I also had asked Mr Drill Instructor (Runkeeper) to give me a shout half-way. He’s normally ready to shout at any time it seems, but he stood me up and default Kat came to my rescue! Tech!

Run was nice, I could consciously lengthen my stride and lean into the run a bit and could feel myself getting faster! The perfect 145BPM Spotify music list helped as well!

Happy running into the Halloween 👻 season, everyone! (I should have planned my zombie runs to coincide with Halloween, but didn’t think of this! Next time!)

Well done, you just can't rely on drill instructors nowadays!

I am currently on the injury bench which is frustrating but am managing a few gentle walks.
