Very quick 30min run this morning, after the last 5k run (which for me is (still) classed as the weekly long run).
Had to wait until it got a bit light, as I haven’t found a street route yet that I like. So was jumping at the bits by the time the dark lifted.
There was a lovely fog, I had to wear my light gloves and I definitely need to now look for a running hat. My 🧢 was a bit too light.
And I ran too fast for any zombies to catch me!
I have to say, I am really impressed by the Zombies, Run 🧟♀️ 🧟♂️app. Besides the missions (your normal runs), it also has workout programmes, statistics, some more shorter storylines to run to specific destinations and interval training. And all that even before the paywall.
Having looked into it and searched on here, there is even a Couch to 5k app, Zombie Version. And the pretence of the narrative is consistent, through all coached runs, email communication and stats!
So I am surviving in Zombie-Land as runner 5, I am progressing in LeJOG Land as runner 7666 and in the real world I am beginning to wonder how I ever survived without running 🤷🏽♀️
