So I have an ingrown toenail (big toe) and it was tender this morning but determined to stay in track with the magic plan, I decided it would be fine to run and had a great early morning 8K (my first). However as soon as I got back the pain and swelling kicked in and on inspection I realise I have made it much worse 😩 any top tips to deal with this. I do not want to stop running or the magic plan but the longer runs may be part of the problem?

Cut a v shape in the top centre of the nail..this eases the side pressure. My podiatrist gave me that tip..but you need to get it treated..otherwise it will get worse. Ring a podiatrist?

It is excruciating I had one, and it was left too long and I had a lot of fluid at the side...I was teaching and a child in my class, put the leg of his chair on it... and the whole thing burst...as I was in an Ofsted inspection I had to ignore the pain... until the same child said.. you are bleeding on the carpet!!! EEEkkkk
It got better very quickly after that !!!!
