Bah, laid up again

After recovering from a heavy cold and squeezing a short run in last week, one on the kids has now tested positive for Covid (no symptoms), that means I’m stuffed for running for another week and a half. (14 days, think I’m down to 10 or 11 now)

Looks like I’ll be starting c25k again if something else goes wrong this month😢

That is such a bad deal for you. Really hope that you avoid the infection and are back out running asap.

Oh no! 😦

Do whatever you can until you're back out there. Stretch and strengthen and work on this side to help you when you're back out. Sending best wishes

What a shame Reggit - I hope you all avoid any Covid symptoms . The running will be waiting for you in 10/11 days time!

Oh no, such bad luck. Look after yourself. Unless you're out for weeks you should be able to pick up the running again quickly. Take care.

Thanks everyone, think we’ve dodged it to be fair. Just miffed at having to have a fortnight off when I’d just recovered from a cold (hmm was that Covid? ).

Like you say the roads will still be there when I get released. It’ll be about 3 weeks off bar a short 3k run I squeezed in before the covid descended!

Hope it’s mild, time passes and you will be out again, be kind to yourself and of course the children too

How frustrating but will give you time to plan and read and shop all things running in the meantime 😉 best wishes for child’s speedy recovery
