Well I set out on week 3 of the bridge to 10k with a 7k plan in my head, but at the back of my mind I had a small thought of 10k..... I paced myself at about 7 per K and this felt great so carried on and on. 7k had past and I could see the 10k. The last K was a challenge but I had absolutely not plans to stop until Iβd achieved the 10k. This has been such an amazing journey for me and I am sooooo proud of every goal that I am achieving along the way....This group definitely helps with these and itβs great to be part of it. Happy days!! π₯³πββοΈπππ

A milestone run so huge congratulations and you should feel really proud πππ
Celebrate tonight, you have earned it π
Thank you so much!
I did exactly that too! Once you get into a happy pace, you can keep going. I also bridged in under 3 weeks. HOWEVER, I did take a long time to consolidate after before moving to towards a half.
Massive well done π
Well done thatβs a great achievement. Ran my first 10k last weekend in pretty much the same fashion as you describe, so I know exactly how you are feeling. I even agree that the last km was the real challenge, I could easily of given up then, but I knew I would kick myself later if I stopped at 9km. Once again a big well done !
