First 10k since I returned from Portugal

It’s taken me a while, but I’ve eventually found a nice, safe, 10k from my door, and I ran it this morning. It wasn’t pretty, and I found it pretty tough ( why are the toughest hills on the last three kilometres?), but I’m chuffed to little mint balls that I did it.

Yesterday I started Lejog5. And like many, I thought I was doing something French🥴. Glad to have it explained that it’s Lands End to John O’Groats...I feel a bit of a twit now.

I’m not technically minded at all and it’s taken me a while to navigate their site but I think it’s logged properly now.

Happy happy running everyone. I still can’t quite believe it. I couldn’t run 60 seconds when I started. Now running way over 60 minutes. That’s just nuts😉🤪

Great running and very well done on your 10K. I’m starting yet again at getting back to that distance. Been a long time since I last run 10K without any walking breaks.

I thought it might have originated in France too - think in reverse it’ll be a jogle! I’m not sure I’ve sussed the website yet and despite many attempts can’t edit my bib 🤷‍♀️ Keeping moving though. Great time on your 10k

I seem to have managed my bib. But other than that I’m such a techno twit. I’ll keep plodding through their website as I can see other Lejoggers have been able to compile pictures of their virtual surrounds. Think I’m going to have to sign up for night classes for anything that fancy though!
