On week 2 run 1 of this plan..... does it matter that I always start the week with a 30 minute run rather than a 20 minute run? Just got into this habit...? Seems weird to run shorter.

Hey YG, I'm just one run ahead of you. I am sort of sticking to the timings because we need to be careful with the increase in time / distance week on week (no more than 10%) but I'm doing the runs in different orders depending on the weather! This week I only have the 15min left to do. I quite enjoy the shorter runs and I'm using them to work on speed and adding some hills too. But as long as you don't overdo it, go for it, do whatever works for you βΊπ
Its absolutely fine... you can tweak the plan in whatever way works for you, and well done too.

The first 2 runs of each week I decided to mix it a bit iro times/distances, but I stuck to the 3rd run times. My aim was to do 60mins first which I achieved easily. I then eased off for 2 weeks (rest period, mainly 3&4ks with a couple of 5ks) and on the 6th consolidation run did 10km in1hr 21mins. So I made it a 10wk program.

I'm averaging 35mins for 5k, quickest was 33mins. Might get quicker when temps start to drop. Did one 5k last year in 24 mins - π€£π€£π€£ must have been a hiccup, could'nt have done that at my age.
