My consolidation runs from C25K have been erratic to say the least and I really need to get into a proper routine if I’m to progress! My son and his gf started C25K after hearing how much I enjoyed it but they haven’t been consistent either, taking over 3 months to get to Week 7, so I invited myself on a run with them on Thursday and am going to try to make it a regular thing every week or two.
So today I didn’t have much time but decided something is better than nothing and set off for a quick trot around the block. Covered 2.89km in 20mins 48sec so I’m happy with that 😄 Now I need to set a date with myself for a longer run on Monday!

Well done to the whole family. As you say a run is better than no run, and also takes the pressure off a bit. Routine is all. I run alternate days, 1st thing, no excuse. It helps that hubby does the same. Happy running 🤗
Well done on getting out there Workingathome 👊🏃♀️ I'm also consolidating; this is my 2nd time round with C25k - and a regular running routine is key for me! If I don't think of it as an essential part of my life, I just won't bother to do it (like last time 🙈)
Having 2 rest days is working for me, and focusing on my 30 minute runs is enough to be getting on with 😊
I've been known to shout out for a virtual buddy to shove me, so watch this space! And good luck 🦋
Thank you! You’re righta regular running routine is important, I’ve been thrown off recently though as my walking group has started up again and a couple of good long walks (Over 10 miles with big hills) have stopped me running (didn’t want to run the day or two before and be too tired and achy for the walk, didn’t want to run a couple of days after as too tired and achy from the walk 🤦🏻♀️) I’m starting to get a bit fitter again now though and also have some leave coming up from work so no excuses now 🏃♀️
