Well I finally did it, the dreaded 10k has been reached!
Got to 5 k in December 19 and started consolidation, but had a nasty foot injury in Feb at beginning of lockdown that put a stop to any exercise for 8 weeks, so I had to start again building up distance.
I’m slow but i’ve been exploring my local area, discovering some lovely walks, nature and areas I simply had never seen before. Had managed to get up to 8k including hills...
So yesterday I decided to try a flatter run and I only did it, can’t believe that in under a year, this old bird has gone from non runner to 10k!
Feeling quite proud of myself.
