MrL reliably informed me yesterday that there was a nippy wind and that I should wear long sleeves and long legs for my run but after about 4 miles I knew that he was definitely wrong.
I'd already taken off the vest I was wearing over the long sleeved top so the only other thing to do was to take off the long sleeves and put the vest back on. Not easy to do when you've got a cap, a long pony tail, sunglasses and earphones all caught up together so I had to stop - I paused my watch but I did keep walking.
By the end of my run I had run 10k in total but I'd had that walking rest as well. So my question is - does my 10k count as 10k and if so how do I claim my graduate bags please?

Oh, I think that counts don't you?! In which case....👏🎉🎉 Congratulations, doesn't it feel great! 😀 As for your badge, I think there should be a pinned post to request it by, if I remember rightly. Well done.🙂
Thank you, I'm hopeful of running it without the walk break, next Saturday.
I've just walked half of the Nayland 10k course (just a recce, the race isn't until 2nd July) and think I'm going to need to practice running up hills! Keep reminding myself that it's good to have a goal of two!
It definitely counts. Run/walk is a perfectly valid technique and I use it very frequently on my longer runs. It doesn't slow me down either. So congratulations on your first 10k!
Er no! You have to run it all or you're cheating!😂 Ha Ha Nooooo! I'm only jesting! Of course you can, it counts, you did the distance! Well done! Get your badge!😊
