I completed my 8th consolidation run this morning which I thoroughly enjoyed. I felt like I had gone a lot slower but somehow managed to run faster and longer, which I am thrilled about. The sub 30 minute 5k is still slightly elusive (30.12 today on Strava, or 29.04 on my Fitbit - I trust Strava more). I have actually managed 3 runs this week, as mostly due to work commitments I only manage to run twice a week. I think I am going to consolidate for another 2-4 weeks depending on how I feel with my niggly ankles and hips, and then will aim to start on the Bridge to 10k.

What an amazing 5k, great time for it. You will conquer 10k easily when you decide to start. Happy running 🤗

What a great 5k and a brilliant time and made even better by enjoying it 😀
Well done! These are excellent times and you'll be ready to start the Bridge to 10k plan when you feel ready.

Well done, and great plan....
Thank you. I'm really looking forward to starting bridge to 10k. Will be seeing a physio this week so will hopefully sort out my niggles to allow me to start. I'm really enjoying the consolidation runs and I am starting to find more routes from home to keep things fresh.
