Fellow Forum members, so I started a nice π run today going for just a 30min run, but with intentions of going for 60min if I felt good.
So I carried on until about 40mins in, I got a second wind and got to my target, but why did it come so late into πββοΈ, I'm guessing some chemical changes is happening or along those lines, other than that I found myself drifting into an automode of some kind.
Not sure why? ,other than I'm doing ju ju 10k plan starting Monday, so perhaps thats preping me im confused, stamina was good not out of breath, but knees aching a bit.
Any tips guys would be welcomed βΊ

Great run Knightrider-28 , if your knees are a bit achy you might have been landing on your feet too hard . I also forget sometimes and go back to how we were told to land as softly as possible when doing c25k. Also there are knee strengthening exercises that can help.
Glad those robot legs kicked in eventually Knightrider, with me it was around the 20 minute mark... its just when you are working aeorbically with plenty of oxygen in your bloodstream.
My tip is to start really slowly and let it build whilst you go through the first 10 mins or so and your body adjusts to what you are asking of it.
It bodes well for the Magic 10 though. Take care of those knees by strenghening your quads maybe. Bridges, clams, monster and crab walks....
I'd be interested in answers to this too. I huff and puff for the first 3k and then seem to get a second wind/my breathing suddenly eases. Its a bit like toxic 10 but instead a toxic 3k which can take me 25 mins at my snail pace!
