It’s a bit cooler, blustery, oh just lovely, and 4k in 34 minutes a record for me, 3k in 25 minutes a record for Willow, do I envy him the sit in the car having a cigarette while he waits for me to run a bit further? actually no not at all I’m just happy he can smoke when I no longer do and it’s not a problem for us
First 2k under 8km at 7.54km and 7.57km made me grin when I think we got excited when we could run in under 11km
Happy running everyone

Good morning Sola, that was a good run for you today despite being a little windy, good run and a record time for Willow as well. I thought Willow had stopped smoking but you say he was sitting in his car with a cigarette.
Thanks Al, no I stopped smoking January he made noises about it but it never happened and we both gained 11lbs lol but we are beginning to shed it again
Glad it made you smile, i’m slow and old and my fastest 5k was just under 46 minutes, i checked the time today and decided to call it a day at 4k I love running but haven’t progressed much this year so to find a comfortable run was faster is well exciting
Well done to you both. You keep knocking those PBs out☺️. That headwind was a struggle this morning but I was glad of the cooler temps. Well done with the smoking too. I'm sure Willow will do it in his own time. Happy running both🏃🏃😄
Isn't it great when you just have one of those runs?! And I love that sense of finding you have improved when you weren't really focused on it just by getting out there!
Well done W&S, the shoes must’ve been feeling better today. Also very impressive that you have stopped smoking on your own, it must’ve been hard in those early days. You will never regret it as your lungs reap the benefits. 🏃♀️👏👏
