Well.. I've only gone and ran my 1st 9km.. fortunately weather was fresher. ( could have done with the rain showers too, they passed me by) ..I've paced myself, out of my comfort zone and ran a new route with some lordy hills. . Pushed as best i can, n happy with efforts so far.. now i know i can do something new!

Juju 10k Magic plan week 6, run 3
What a great run with fantastic hills well done. Hope that wonderful feeling you get at the end of a great run stays with you. Happy running 🤗
Just about cried when i got home..not with pain but with joy. There's a point you get so far and you think, there's no going back now.
The first 2.5k to 3k seem so hard ( n i choose downhill for those, wherever possible) , yet the last 1.5k seem like..i can go on wee while more.
I was panicking thinking i wouldn't make it.. as getting 7k to 8k past few weeks were hard work on legs..as was this weeks 5k.. mind you 5k was 930pm in all HEAT s of the evening ..
9 to 10min km's seem to be my level for now.. so I'm not going to push more, I'm improving distances and stamina, thats heeps better than pace..🙂🏃♀️😄
Stick with what works for you, as stamina builds so will pace 🤗
I'm learning slowly.. least this time around i am injury free.
I've joined a local running group too..
In saying that.. i will go to their sessions end of July approx.. they're in groups of 5 and it's all bookable online too.. I'm still not confident to go out with others yet..solo running has made me more confident.. audiofuel has helped me no end too.
I miss my running buddies.. but its just too early in my mind, to meet up....
That’s really inspirational, I’ve been toying with the idea of re starting the magic plan, we started it soon after graduation last November and gave up at the end of week 3. Between the dark cold wet evening runs and working extra hours it just wasn’t sustainable, now I feel it’s time to progress again, thank you
