Ran 6k tonight 😀 I’ll take that! First time for me going past 5k running final run of wk 3 of the magic plan (44 mins). I know it’s not fast but I’m happy that I ran for that long especially when I couldn’t be bothered when I got in from work. Looking back it’s mad thinking about how I couldn’t run for 60secs earlier this year. This is just wonderful ☺️☺️☺️☺️

Thank you! I’ll follow your journey. It’s lovely to talk to others about our runs. Especially as I run alone.

Well done you- what a feeling! 🙂

Well done! The biggest thing here is going out after work when perhaps you didn't feel like it. If you keep going out and being consistent then you really will get to 10k and beyond!! Well done.

Brilliant!! I started the plan but my knee has other ideas, so sadly just trotting around the 4 to 5 k mark. Longest run to date is 5.75k which my knee did not like!! Best of luck- 6k is a real milestone 😀😀

It’s frustrating when we’re so motivated to keep running after graduating from c25k but injuries get in the way. I’ve been suffering with sciatica so it really slows me down and bothers me for the first 5 mins of running at the least. Just afraid I’ll lose it if I stop. Well done you for keeping up the running x

That's brilliant. Well done. I stayed stuck on 5 km for ages, just couldn't seem to get past the mental barrier.

When I did go to 6k it just changed my mindset. I did 6 a few times, then 7k , then 8k. So I know now I will make it to 10k in my own time. Keep upping by a small amount when you're comfortable with your usual distance. No hurry, you have all the time in the world to do it.

Enjoy
