No dehydration this time!

I retackled the 10km hill run on which I suffered dehydration problems & posted about it a week ago.

This time, I drank plenty of water yesterday and about a pint before setting off at 6.30 am.

Cool, slightly misty weather. Metronome set at 160 which is my long distance setting (difficult to sustain uphill but it keeps me going if I flag).

Not much traffic but more than in the last weeks. Very grateful for Aftershox earphones.

PB broken by 7 minutes! And good to burn off half a day’s calories before breakfast.

Congratulations on that 7 minutes PB on your 10K run earlier today, I find the metromone a help when running, strangely enough my PB's all have been when I have not had the metromone app with me, 30.55 and 30.56 at parkrun was with no app.

It's great to see a difference when properly hydrated and you cetainly had that today. 7 minutes of your pb is amazing 😊😊👏👏

Fantastic effort, I'm so glad you got your hydration right this time, certainly showing in your speed increase. Lucky you ½days calories on a 10k run. My 10k this morning wasn't even 600 calories 😥 Happy running 🤗

I burn 90 kcalories per km because I’m so big. Trying to keep to 1800-2000 a day.
