First 'drive to' run . . .

Well I made an early start this morning and as we are now actually allowed to drive to an exercise location I set off for my favourite location, the Brampton Valley Way. As much as I am happy to run around the local park and the streets I much prefer to be out in the countryside, particularly on such a beautiful morning as this morning. I was thinking of maybe doing 5k but it was just perfect running weather and one of those runs when you want to keep going so I did 8k in the end . . . Happy running everybody πŸ‘πŸ˜€

Great you are now allowed to drive to a favourite run route and the weather makes all the difference. Nice and sunny here in Scotland also brilliant running weather. Have a nice day πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸ˜Š

The only time I'm in the car to run is on a Saturday for parkrun and that's not happening at the moment anyway. I'm now running on a cycle path route which is great as I'm usually on pavements next to the road. 😊

I did the same. Nice to be away from it all instead of dodging and weaving around other pedestrians in the streets of Bungalow City.

My thoughts exactly! πŸ‘πŸ˜

Ooooh. I'd like to try this one day. The idea of driving somewhere to run sounds like the real deal. Well done on getting out there.

I like the solitude, no traffic to dodge, peace and quite, just the birds and the rabbits πŸ˜ƒ

It sounds like a perfect run and yes, so nice that we can get back to the quiet tracks and trails again.

Happy running πŸ˜ŠπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Yes, its perfect for running, flat and about 15 miles through the countryside, not that I go that far 😁
