According to my Garmin watch I slept for 11 hours last night - I beg to differ!!! I woke every couple of hours through the night but at least the headache that plagued me all day yesterday had gone. I made the mistake of drinking the last bottle of Strawberry and Lime Rekordlig ( from a work incentive before Xmas) on Saturday evening. I love the taste ( like red ice lollies or red jelly babies) but I always end up with a 24 hour headache the next day so that’s the last one I will have. I think it’s the Sulphites in it as I have no issue with Gin or Martini.
Anyway headache free I decided to run today and it was a lovely run. 17 mins X3 running with 1 min walks between so 53 minutes total and Just a smidgeon short of 6.5k run. That’s the longest distance and time I have run since end of last summer. And it was a nice easy run ... beautiful sunny day , barely a cloud in the sky and I only realised it was windy at all when I turned into it in my return half ☹️. Quite a bit of people dodging including 2 couples who could so easily have gone to single file while we passed each other, which would have made life easier for me and the man with the dog who was also trying to pass them. But apart from that an enjoyable run. Unfortunately the wind in my face on the return run gave me Noddy cheeks, which 3 hours later still haven’t returned to normal

Great running limberlou and glad you've got rid of your headache. I've passed quite a few of ' those' couples which for some reason can't seem to move out the way. 😊😊
Great run, especially the windy return leg. I hate it when garmin tells me I’ve had a great 😴 what I’m actually great at is lying still and trying to sleep. It always amazes me how so many people still can’t work out how to allow passing - I now assume anyone I meet won’t avoid me and I cross the road etc well before I’m near them. Happy running 🤗
