Better run today (2nd attempt of posting)

Today felt like a much better run, I still Jeffed 5:1 but I managed 5k so I’m happy and I missed any rain too. I’m fact at one point it was dazzlingly sunny.😁. I ran my old 5k route in reverse for a change trying to confuse the gremlins and it seemed to throw them off the scent somehow. I didn’t spot one on the way round.

I took it easy as my right ankle has been a bit grumpy lately (seemed to have cheered up this morning) and also I had the “ stitch-like” pain in my right side when I woke up, which I could feel muttering away under the surface as I ran and then easing when I walked. I now presume that to be my kidney cyst as it is in the same area that hurt after I’d been prodded in my scan. I had a phone call yesterday from the dr who referred me for the scan, the results hadn’t got to him yet ( only 10 days!!!) but he asked how it went and when I told him he said oh well when I get the results I’ll write to your GP and you,and we’ll decide what to do next. So not much further forward. I know I’m becoming more and more conscious of it on a day to day basis. So I’ll be glad of some sort of plan.

Anyway I have now had my breakfast and I’m about to spend the day with my lovely daughter who is on a days leave. She is making me homemade Subway Veggie Delite roll for lunch and we have her homemade Cauli Curry for this evening. Spoilt much? But then I deserve it 🤣🤣
