Portent of spring

Welcome. It has been years since we have been able to take Molly up into the woods...long story.....and it is wonderful to rediscover them now. We noticed these yesterday...unfortunately there was a ditch between me and them, so this was as close as I could get! Higher up, the gorse has started to flower, and there was a woodpecker hammering away too. Awful and strange times, but nature offers some compensations too.

Nature is beginning to take over again and much of the damage caused by humans will heal.

So good that you are able to get out and walk and see and hear all the delights out there.

We have the squirrels returning to the garden and the birds as ever...and the blessed peacefulness all around.

I am hopeful that some good will come out of this, despite the heartache and loss...

Will do Dexy....Trying to exercise a bit of discipline to avoid over posting!! I am aware of just how lucky we are here. We have lost our beach trips, but woods every day has filled the gap 😊.

Yes we are so lucky to be by the sea too, so I mustn’t appear ungrateful. There are so many families without a garden , and even access to a park has been denied because of those who broke the boundaries.
