Running in an isolated part of Wales is so rich in stimulation, the sights and sounds normally lost amongst the hustle and bustle and everyday noise, even the canal boat traffic has seemingly disappeared....This morning all I could hear was that intoxicating crunch of my trainers on the gravelly towpath and the birds π
Enjoy your weekend runs folks
Stay healthy say safe remember the 2metre rule π
Glad that you enjoyed your 5K solo run this morning, at 9.30 today I also ran what I call "a virtual parkrun" that is the time that parkruns are run in Scotland, solo like you, strangely enough I saw another runner running with his dog, just like what I see at parkruns.
I think I would like to hear that gravelly sound underfoot! Such a satisfying sound.....
Another lovely run from you. Looks lovely alongside the canal. I loved hearing the wildlife and the sound of my own feet yesterday too. I feel so lucky to run where I do. We are both lucky to have beautiful countryside on our doorsteps.
Itβs wonderful isnβt it. Birds are a symbol of freedom
Enjoy this peace. Itβs so important to our wellbeing Far from the madding crowd. There is much wrong at present but running alone offers solace doesnβt it π
