It was too nice to be indoors, so the best option surely is to be outside and what else but a quick run around the towpath and lanes π.
The sounds the smells of nature gets more evident with each day as lockdown continues π..... We'll beat this virus if we maintain our sensible approach like most of us are ππ.
Hope you all keep safe and healthy and if you're running today, keep that distance and enjoy your run!!
It makes the run so much more enjoyable when you can take in scenery, nature and the pleasure that you can actually run.. I got to do 11k this morning and it was beautiful.. keep it up π
You've hit the nail on the head Suzuki1k I makes a run sommich more π and that distance is fantastic....... I think that 10k or even 11 is such a nice distance π
Ohhhhhh nooooo, sighing not allowed you have to-die-for landscapes out there and dare I say an envious climate π I did enjoy my morning run..... Though working ungodly hours makes sunrise runs seemingly impossible π’
I know just wish it was all on my doorstep. My local run is along the footpath that runs alongside the railway lines hummph! Anyway, going to stay positive. Just about to have a flat white (new (ish) coffee machine) nd Mr L made apple/oaty muffins and the best bit - I have more Jaffa cakes. Life is good. π
Hmmm I guess the railway line thing wasn't the image of NZ I'd imagined. But a flat white accompanied by a brace of Jaffa cakes π the world's a good place π. I'm probably more of a tea chap.....I blame my upbringing..
Rewind to June 2019 on returning from one of the greatest British cities (Liverpool) from a break in the Titanic hotel. My girls had made me a birthday hamper...... In said hamper was a box π of Jaffa cakes totalling I think it was about 360 JC's ..... Happy dad
Did you ration yourself to one a day? Choccie heaven! Used to have a crush on Kevin Keegan when I lived in the UK in the 70βs Loved our day in Liverpool last year, its a fabulous place - agreed.
Ah I think a lot of ladies probably swooned over the curls π» he owned a house for a while just outside Mold, a quaint little village called Cilcain ( random useless fact!)
I like the useless facts, since lockdown I have travelled to so many gorgeous parts of the UK (thanks Google) that when the borders re-open I may have to spend months in the UK to get round them all, never mind the parkruns although it will need a big Lotto win. π π€
When the world settles down again Lexi and everything slots back into place it'll be interesting to see how people's travelling plan alter π§ it's going tomjabe unsettled a lot of folks....... I miss park runs
