7.5km done slowly. Some discomfort, where my legs attach to my body, stopped me from pushing it any further. I'm terrified of running out of medication, so have cut down 1/4 every second day. My reasoning was that it would save me 2 pills per week, so 8 per month. That gives me 2 days extra in case my prescription is delayed, but frankly the discomfort this morning wasn't worth it, so I'm back on full dose and am keeping my fingers crossed. Has everyone managed to get their medication ok?
Discovered my 4min improvement last 5km was due to a flatter route, not a fast increase in stamina 🙄
Still, I had a lovely run in the sun and feel great now. No aches at the moment 👍
All the boaters sounded horns etc at 8pm as a mark of recognition and thanks for our NHS workers. It was lovely.
Am going to brave the supermarket tomorrow.
Keep calm and carry on folks.

It took about 5 days for my and my neighbours prescriptions to arrive at the chemist Baddie, so put your request in in plenty of time. You don’t want to be taking less than the prescribed dosage.
Great 7.5km run Baddie prescription predicament not so. Glad you’re back on full dose and fingers crossed you’ll be able to easily get your next prescription when you need it. Mr L is thankful he timed his tablets pick up well and his GP gave him another 3 month script just in case (before lockdown) Good luck with the supermarket shopping and stay well x
Poor you! Don’t cut back it’s not worth it & because prescriptions are controlled they won’t run out of medicines. Not heard of anyone yet unable to get their usual supplies.
Wow must have been special to hear the boaters!! It was moving enough being in solidarity with the neighbours & all coming out to clap! 👏👏
Well done up to 7.5km already! We were pleasantly surprised that our local pharmacy delivered my husband's medication. The lady who delivered them was wearing a mask. Keep well. 🏃♀️😊
Sometimes it can be a good thing to try and cut down on your medication, just to see. But in your case you're obviously better taking your full amount .
Sounds like you had a lovely run in the sun though, in Scotland today we have damp and foggy weather.
What I would say is if you are wanting more medication, ask for it a lot sooner than you normally would as things are taking a bit longer.
Stay safe and hope you have many more sunny runs 😊😊
A long queue in the sunshine, everyone behaving well. Only saw one elderly lady roll her eyes at having to walk to the end aisle to queue. Not sure she was great at walking though. I enjoyed it. Bit of a war spirit. Than exercised at the allotment digging. The frost has nipped my spud shoots. May have to plant more. They grow perfectly well in the cupboard!
The weather has been so uplifting this week, hasn’t it? Nice run for you, but don’t risk being in pain. I braved Aldi this morning for my weekly shop - 20 minute wait to get in, but managed to get almost everything 😃
I order my prescription from Boots online. You can set up reminders and they post it to your house. I’ve only had one issue in over a year. They sent the wrong inhaler once, I rang them and they told me to take the wrong one into my local Boots, which I did, and the correct one arrived the next morning.
I work in a GP surgery and we are doing our best to fulfill all prescriptions that are due. I wouldn’t recommend cutting back your medications without a Doctor’s advice. If you put your prescription request in a week or so before you need your next medications you should get them on time. Great run and well done 👍
