Well on the way to 10....

I have no idea which week I am on but since I came back from my holiday I’ve bought new shoes and I have been doing a couple of shorter runs during the week plus a body pump class on a Friday, then a longer run on a Saturday. I normally feel like I can run better in the mornings but today I had things to do with children in the morning.

So after lunch I saddled up the doggo, put on my new shoes and headed out. My man hasn’t run all week son I ran to his house and dragged him out. Dragged him round a 5k loop and then left him and carried on a bit longer.

I am very happy to have managed 7k at the same pace I normally do 5k, I think having company for some of it helped, and the fact that he was struggling more than I was also helped mentally 😂.

My first 10k race of the year is six weeks away so I am feeling pretty good about actually being able to run a full 10k by then 😎

I’m tempted with the half but really not sure I can run that far!! Broad Town 5 (miles) is a nice one though, in June I think. Medal and a t-shirt.

Nice shoes! I love how they match your dog harness.

There is nothing like a fella struggling to keep up to make you feel better 😂
