Did first run of my week 3 10k plan yesterday . . . bruised ribs are a lot better now so back on track now and redoing week 3, hopefully no more mishaps. 5k planned for tomorrow morning and will be testing out my birthday present for the first time – a Garmin Forerunner 25 :)

Well done. Nothing like a new piece of kit to add motivation :-)

Glad your ribs are better. Enjoy the run with the new technology. I’m taking my turn on the IC from today after a fall during my run this morning.

Oooh let us all know how the gadget fairs! I’m so tempted to get a Garmin!

Well done with your progress!

Did a 5k today with the Garmin . . . very easy to use and when I got home very easy to download the data. I would upload a screen grab but I don’t think I can do that unless I start a new thread?. I’m very impressed and this is just the cheapest Garmin at about £80, it certainly it does all I need and more.
