Congratulations on completing your qualifying run for the Vitality World Running Cup, I will be running at 2.pm for 30 minutes, hopefully I'll be able to run a 3K in that time as I have ran a 5K in around 32/33 minutes.

Hi AlMorr! This morning I ran for 3.01miles and it took me 40 mins . Does that mean I’ve Qualified? in the World Cup vitality run.

Thanks AlMorr.πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ€—

That's 4.84 kilometers, I think you have qualified, I have just ran 4.41 kilometers in 30.41 seconds, so I think that both of us have qualified.

in reply to AlMorr

Brilliant and congrats. Yes! We both did it! Does it take a while for it to be synced to vitality or do I need to do something with me Garmin.

Thanks so much Al for your help, much appreciated πŸ€—πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Not sure about the Garmin bit but that run that I have just ran is registered on the Vitality App, just the distance, day and time of day. I am doing those runs with Mapmyrun.

PS, if you look at the Vitality World Running Cup Healthunlocked team page, there are now 93 taking part in the Healthunlocked team, it shows the distance that the runners have ran today as well as the team members who have yet to run, the runner who has ran the most amount of kilometers is at the top of the list, the runners who have just ran 3K and qualified in 30 minutes are at the bottom.

I can't see you in the team any longer. I saw you yesterday, with myfi in your name, but that's no longer there. Have you changed your name? Or left the team?

in reply to linda9389

Hi Linda no I removed Myfi because I thought they just wanted proper names not user names. However I have reinstalled it.

I’m still waiting for my run from yesterday to be synced . I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong. I did send them a Garmin picture of my run so I hope that works and next to my runs my Garmin logo is there.

Hope your well.πŸ€—πŸ€—

Sorry if I've already asked you this but I've replied to so many! Have you checked your privacy settings in Garmin? You need to allow 'my connections' to see your activities, otherwise vwrc cannot access the data. Once you change it, it should apply to all future runs, but not past ones.

The only way to get previous ones in that I am aware of is quite long winded. You need to link Garmin to mapmyrun, make sure you tick the historical data box when setting up mapmy run, and then once that is done link mapmyrun as another tracker in vrwc.

in reply to linda9389

Thanks Linda ! I shall do that tomorrow. In the meantime I have uploaded my Garmin image of my run yesterday as vrwc suggested with their instructions on how to do it manually. Heard from themtoday and they said it will take 48 hours.

But tomorrow I shall follow your brilliant advice . All this tech stuff ! Sometimes for some one who can work an anaesthetic machine ( before I retired obviously) ,check it for any faults making sure that it was in working order and no gas leaks etc there are certain techi things that baffle me. However saying that I’m sure I shall get it.

Thanks again Linda.

Have a great weekend πŸ€—πŸ€—x

Ooh that sounds like a job with a LOT of responsibility 😨

Well done for persevering with this! Remember to look at it BEFORE your next run 😍.

You have a great weekend too πŸ˜€
