Ticking off those magic plan runs

πŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈThis mornings run: Nice quick 3.5k as my 2nd run of week 3 of JuJu’s Magic Plan! And that means on Saturday it’s 7k 😳 and return to my gorgeous, new route alongside ex-rail lines and - once I get beyond 8k - canal side trail!

🌦So really looking forward to it. Weather looks mixed, Sunday actually better than Saturday.

πŸ—Ί And on RunLEJOG, I’ve just passed gorgeous looking Bickleigh with thatched cottages and a 14th century bridge!

Happy running everyone!

Great work CBDB I loved Ju-Ju’s Magic Plan!πŸ™‚ I hope it works for you as well as it did for me.I doubt I’d be running LEJOG now if it hadn’t been for the confidence the plan gave me in my ability to keep running!πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ

Good luck🀞

Well done CBDB! There's a lovely pub right by that ancient bridge where you can enjoy a tier 2 substantial meal with an alcoholic drink! Cheers!😊

πŸ‘πŸ½ thank you!

Well done CBDB , it’s so satisfying ticking off those runs on the Magic Plan isn’t it, I did exactly the same and the completed sheet with scribbles and notes added is an important part of my running memorabilia πŸ˜€

Yes, ticking of achievements is great! And celebrating every single run! (I fear my scribbles are all digital nowadays, but I used to have notebooks full of ticked off tasks! 🀣)

You're doing brilliantly CBDB, well done. You'll love the 7k, and you're new route, wonderful.

Excellent progress with LEJoG too, you're going to smash your target

Your doing really well with the magic plan CBDB and you've got some great routes set up by the sound of it. Well done πŸ‘πŸ‘

Indeed! And the new route still feels shiny and needing unwrapping with each run! Perfect for the holiday season!

This all looks terrific!Good luck Saturday 😊 7k is waiting for you and you'll be great. A nice distance to be running and great prep for 8km (5m) next week which is a distance I really enjoy πŸ˜‰

Thanks. I might do the 7k on Sunday, as my legs feel like they need a day more recovery. I get some tiny knee niggles sometimes, and I take these warning signs to mean doing another recovery day. Usually works. Weather is also supposed to be better on Sun, but I might just not be able to wait!

5miles! I haven’t thought of it as that! Huh! πŸ‘πŸ½

in reply to CBDB

I work in miles so km always throws me. Yes, see how you feel. Keep those squats up because they are the power train πŸš†.

I'll look out for Sunday's report 😊

Well done πŸ‘. The Magic plan is great I think I’ll be starting it after the holidays. Still working on getting back to 5 k. Then up to 60 minutes again. But the Magic Plan is on my New Years agenda. Happy running πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Well, I’m so slow that you’ll probably catch up with me πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ˜‰πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘ Hope you find a solution to your hip pains. My New Years resolution will probably be to integrate in-bed morning stretches into my morning routine. πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ’ͺ

I couldn’t wait. Just came back from my 7k. The weather was just too good. Knee held up, but I should have had more water yesterday. But all good!
