Parkrun was cancelled due to this

I wasn't at parkrun today anyway but I just found out from AlMorr that it was cancelled and here's why

That's just the sort of challenge for ultra marathon runners Leosmit, not 5K parkruns, however, as you say, it could have added a challenge. 😊

I am sure the parkrun people will report it to the council to clear it up before next Saturday, I understand that one of the organisers of that parkrun works for the leisure department of that council, he also runs and volunteers regularly, so he will report it to the powers that be to clear it up quickly.

Hi Cheeky, I am not sure if it was you or Dexy5 who have been on holiday at Playa de Troya-Las Americas in Tenerife, I have just been watching a Webcam of that beach with all the people relaxing, sunbathing and others splashing in the water and guess what, a RUNNER appeared from the left of the live cam and I tracked him until he was out of site of the camera, I suppose running along a beach is very enjoyable for many, the weather there is brilliant, not a cloud in the sky, temperature about 18C, little wind, roll on summer.

Honestly......😂 joking aside, must be safe......luckily ours went ahead, the trees had the decency to fall away from the path last week.....and a creaky one just fancied some hazard tape to make it stand out and a marshal for company today.....

Well it’s a good job it fell before parkrun Buddy. I think that’s why many parks say parkrun can’t go ahead when winds are a certain strength. Keep safe.
