Oh, hold on a minute πŸ™„ ....

Actually a lovely run in near-perfect conditions, 5k in 24’58” according to Garmin πŸ˜€ but unfortunately it thinks the course is 5040m, and 6 secs for those 40m meant I stopped the watch at 25’04” grr grr πŸ˜•

And a PB for Dexy, whoop whoop πŸ˜€πŸ₯‚πŸƒπŸ½β€β™€οΈ

Happy New Year everybody πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒπŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸšΆπŸΌβ€β™‚οΈπŸšΆβ€β™€οΈπŸŒ

I know that 0.4 seconds is grrr, a bit like a runner doing a 5K in 30.04, a bit flustrating, great time for Dexy. 😊 I have already wished you and Dexy a happy new year, enjoy your runs in 2019. 😊 πŸƒ

Thanks Al. 25' for 5k is the time I used (say 5 years ago) to be able to knock off pretty much routinely on coming back after not running for a while. Now it is my bogey time - while I can still achieve it occasionally, I can tell myself I'm not getting old ….. :-) . I wasn't old just before Christmas, and I was positively youthful (i.e. sub 24) once in September - we'll just have to see what the New Year brings !

I got a note from Parkrun to say that my best time this year remained at.....

And I took serious objection to that. My fastest in 2019 was the one this morning!

I get nit-picky with the Garmin too.....

You two are amazing.πŸ‘

Ah, but a Parkrun year starts on the anniversary of the first run at that site :-)
