Thanks for sharing, put in my last run then wondered why I did as I dont race, dont try for a PB, just run for the sheer fun of it trying out new routes and hills π€£π€£ maybe I should take this more seriously. Happy running
I only have one pace which is slow π However according to that I can actually go slower πππ»ββοΈππ»ββοΈππ»ββοΈ
Thanks for that Steve, I really like that link. I've read about several of those pace terms and couldn't really follow what they were on about and how to know which is which. Having that calculator is really good and the follow up linked through articles on WHY the easy pace is what it is is excellent, along with the others that show how often to do them.
I'm making a note to slow down for several of my runs!! Without some instruction, easy is actually a lot slower than I'd normally expect.
Nice one!
Brilliant, never thought I'd read anything telling me to run slower than I do! π€£
I actually clicked the link on how to run faster, not sure "Drop Dead Tuesday" is going to make it into my training schedule π€£
Great link Steve. Thanks for sharing. Also check out runningfaster.com , I used the training plans last year and brought my parkrun finish times down from 34 minutes to under 26 minutes. Took months of hard work, but the training does pay off.
