So there I was trotting along the seafront minding my own business and thinking that in places trail shoes would have been useful there were so many stones, shells and sand blown up by the sea. Then right above me a large flock of geese milling about looking for a place to park - We get a fair number round here all stopping on their various migrations. Which is fine but lots of birds means lots of bird.... - and I was right in the firing line! Fortunately they must all have been constipated so I got away with it - phew! And week 2 of ju-ju’s magic plan also complete so all’s well! Happy weekend running peeps!

Better in the sky than on the ground! I used to be frightened of geese as a child - can be quite aggressive. One in particular was a real psycho. 😂

And that’s before storm Dennis moves in! You have obviously decided parkrun is a complete no no tomorrow and got your run out of the way while you can. Probs very wise. You can def get wk3 done before hitting the ski slopes.

Whoop whoop 🏃‍♀️⛷👏👏

Yes, having run on Wednesday instead of Tuesday, I managed to get myself all confused about which days to run and as it’s fine today and not guaranteed tomorrow(!) - well, there’s no contest really is there?!!

Well done on not being a moving target!

The only problem is that at the speed I run I’m more of a static target😂!

I don’t blame you getting your run in today. I would be very surprised if many brave Southsea parkrun tomorrow (assuming it’s not called off - I believe there’s going to be a course check at 8am). Thinking of having a lie-in!

Yes, I think it might be lie-ins all round tomorrow!

Lol, I definitely thought you were going to say you got a splattering 😂, glad you avoided it!

Yes, I think we're all having areas on our runs where trail shoes would seem sensible...the weather's certainly giving us a run for our money 😏
