We finally got home on Friday. The last few days in Greece were insanely hot, in the afternoons we were sitting in a darkened air conditioned room to escape the heat. Today the temperature on our boat was 36C, we definitely made the right move by coming back when we did.
Today was another perfect summer's day here in England. I was still phoneless, so no NRC (oh for some cheesy Marmite MissUnderstanding πππ)
The paths have been busy while we've been away, grass a foot high with a tiny strip of hard mud just visible, while the pea seedlings in the fields alongside are now as high as my waist. The sun shone, there was a gentle breeze, everywhere was so green, wonderful.
I only did 3k, plenty, as it was warmer than I anticipated plus the long grass slowed me down. It's so good to be back!
PS my phone arrived at lunchtime so I've been busy all afternoon setting it up

π€£π€£π€£ Just to be totally clear, Iβm absolutely pro cheesy marmite!!
Sounds like a super run in much more temperate climate that Greece, even if it was still warm! 3k is such a great distance. Long enough but not too long. A very nice one to tick off!
Marmite on toast with some thinly sliced Cheddar is the breakfast of champions! I've now got a new phone (hooray!!) so I'm back in my happy place.
The unrecorded runs have been added manually too. I had to go in and change all the settings to km rather than miles. Annoyingly the date is in the US format: month:day:year and I can't work out how to change it but I'm sure if I get a spare half an hour I'll sort it out
