Week One ✅ And NO MUD!

Finished Week 1 of my reboot of the Magic Plan with a non muddy run at Bedgebury Pinetum. I was planning to run the Parkrun course and just add on a bit extra to make it to 5.5km. But at the last minute, I decided to do two laps of the 3km course for a change of scene. It's a lovely route, almost all of it on non muddy paths. But my legs felt very heavy, think they're still recovering from their very muddy run on Monday. On my second lap, a running group came up behind me and one chap was telling me that they run there every Wednesday if I want to join them. I think I prefer the freedom of running alone but I was pleased to be considered a possible recruit! ☺

Great effort and lovely to be invited into a group. Like you though I prefer running alone, even get grumpy if hubby asks what my planned route and time is, I like the freedom of adding bits on like your double loop. Happy running

Looks like a lovely place to run, and nice to be asked to join in a group 😁

Great you had a non muddy run today and how nice of the person to invite you to join them. I also like running alone but nice to be asked🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️😊

You nearly got recruited by runners, brilliant! Bedgebury looks so nice - I have some climbing friends who do Parkrun there sometimes and said to come along. They are super fit, so I haven’t taken them up on it yet!

I’m in Ashford and drive the Sissinghurst/Goudhurst road to Tunbridge Wells a lot so look at your run reports with interest!

Bedgebury is so lovely, for running or just for a visit. There are several different running trails all clearly marked out, including the Parkrun route, so you could always check it out solo!
