I had a wonderful 6 mile run on the beach with my son and sister on New Year's Day, it was sooooo windy and hard running on the sand, but I loved it.
Today I did 8 miles on my trail and I don't think I have ever known it so wet!!!! The trail was basically a river and I even got a muddy face. It made my day when a family I saw at the start of my run going walking were on their way back on my return and they all cheered me which made my day π
I found it tough though and I was really tired at the end.... I'm beginning to worry about getting to 26.2.... So far to go! To this end I have started a Facebook group to support one another, please feel free to join, it's called, ' Marathon runners support group,'
Back to work tomorrow π°π±π¨
Happy panthering everyone

Oh, lovely picture JJ! A couple of very tough runs but think of how strengthening they must have been for your legs! When is your marathon and am I right in thinking you've done one before? I am sure you will get there..you sound pretty focused about your running to me! Good luckπππ»π
Yes I did Paris last year... Amazing but so hard mentally..... I hope I get there, although I would prefer trails!!! ( I'm doing Brighton in April)... And Thankyou π
You'll be fine with your training, but I know what you mean as it can be a lonesome time, so it's good to have a support network. I don't do Facebook so I will have to support you here and on garmin βΊ
Ahem, hasn't Our Panther already done a marathon? And isn't there a famous picture of a very dejected Johnny FrenchChap being comprehensively panthered near the end of said marathon? Understand the worries but you once worried about doing 10K, and you've got a marathon under your belt already. I don't underestimate how hard it is (which is why I ain't doing one!) but am very confident in you and your ability to get stuck in and run it's legs off. Sending lots of encouragement from oop north.
You remember that pic?!! It's one of my favourites, I would love to know what was wrong with him to look so so sad!!! Thankyou, it feels a long way to go but I have done it before which makes me think it's doable!!
