So, another 10k run done - this time on my local roads, so a lot less muddy than my last couple of runs (although I missed it a bit if the truth be told!)
I basically ran my most frequently run 5K lap twice, which is good route as it contains a few inclines/ undulations to work the legs too.ππ¬
Not gonna lie, wasnβt sure how this was going to go as my legs felt quite tired yesterday after βhillsβ on Friday! π± This run however, reminded me not to listen to the gremlins in my head that try to trip me up with their negative comments! βGosh, if it feels hard on lap one - whatβs lap 2 gonna be like!!β. You know how it goesβ¦!
Anyway, definitely a run that I settled in to - and I kept a fairly steady pace throughout. Iβm not breaking any speed records thatβs for sure but am just so pleased to be back running 10k again! πI have plans to work a little on pace if I survive my upcoming events!π€πββοΈ
