Just taken this . It's my rest day tomorrow so it won't affect me but if it's still there by Wednesday it will be a first. Never ran in snow before🌨

It's just started to snow in Cumbernauld Buddy, but so far it's not lying like it is where you are, probably in a hour it will as we don't live too far away.

Nothing through here on the East Coast and I'm pretty close to sea level so might not get to me.

I did enough running in snow at school to last me a lifetime, so I would feel hard done by if I miss it.

Oh it looks pretty!! Pretty slippy too though, which could be a problem..... ❄️ We don’t get enough snow where I live now so I rely on photos from my Scottish in-laws to remind me!

The snow flakes were massive and it's still snowing 🌨

Take care up there as the forecasters are warning of -10C on Scotland’s west coast tomorrow. I’m in Bristol at the moment & it’s sporadic heavy rain

Oh my word! 😱 That does not look like good running conditions!

That's what my OH said but I'd like to give it a try😊

Report back! 😁

It looks lovely from inside!

Good luck if you do go for a run. Do you have grippers for your trainers to stop you slipping. The last thing you want is to hurt yourself.

Running on freshly fallen soft virgin snow is glorious! I did it for the first time in Canada recently & it was a wonderful experience. However the snow was was thick, so no risk of icy patches underneath. Enjoy!! No snow here in the NE yet. Xx

Enjoy the snow if you decide to have a run in it. Watch you don’t slip .

I got up to a light covering of snow today but not a run day. If it’s still here tomorrow I might miss a run as don’t want to break a leg before holidays. Be careful if you go out in the snow ⛄️. I hate running in icy conditions.

I LOVE running in snow, its such a treat, enjoy it, take it slowly and go careful if it thaws in the day and theres a frost overnight as it can get a bit slippy...

Hey Buddy that looks just beautiful, but why would you want to run in it? Have a snuggle, keep warm and think about a run tomorrow 🙂

Oh yes this is my rest day anyway. Plenty dog walking instead 🌨🐶

I loved my couple of snow experiences when the conditions were right - new & not compacted. It was very slow & felt slightly like a horse trotting! 😂

I’ve run in the snow It collects under the grooves in your shoes to the point where it can’t hold any more snow so dumps it with a thud Great fun 😁

I ran on the local streets when heavy snow was coming down. By the time I got to The park there was no-one there so had the place to myself with not a mark in the snow. It was magical. I didn’t linger too long though and headed home 🙂🏃‍♀️❄️🌧

No sign of snow here. It’s quite sunny

I really enjoy running on the first fall of freshly laid snow. It creates a particular light ..really atmospheric. I don’t run on snow which has had chance to freeze underneath....one fractured vertebra is enough for one lifetime (although I was only walking at the time!). Take care.

Snow here too, think I'll head to lower ground at lunchtime in search of tarmac - new routes through town - yay

I know up here on the moor, and our garden in patriot could be here for days. Got a viewing at 11 so at least everything looks pretty, just got to spread grit so they can get out lane at end of visit🥴

Have just came back from a 40 minute walk with the dog through the slush. That was harder on the legs than my running.

Great you found a safe place to run 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

That is just stunning, I love the snow but we don’t get much and never ran in it

A beautiful picture Buddy! I hope it clears a little ready for your run 😊

Snow shoes? Those cross country skiers are said to be the fittest elite athletes of them all. Perhaps a new sporting career beckons! 😁

The snow is almost away but there is lots of deep slippery slush . Hope it keeps raining to get rid of it for me to run tomorrow 🤞🤞

Ooh, looks lovely but I hope it was gone in time for your run! 🤞

Slippyness from ice and snow is the one type of weather that keeps me from running...I walk instead but silently seethe 😆
